Well-known from several movies is the nearby “Oberbaumbrücke”. Also world-famous and only a two minutes walk away is the “East-Side-Gallery”, the longest remaining piece of the Berlin wall. Artists from all over the world painted it shortly after the wall came down. Just opposite of the Industreipalast is the “O² World”- the largest event center in Europe. Only 100 steps away is the Headquarter of Universal right next to the “Spreeufer”, which is worth a visit itself.
Night life
However the immediate neighbourhood of our hostel still has more to offer. Berlin-Friedrichshain, to the left, and Berlin-Kreuzberg, to the right, are the hot spots for partying per se. That means you can dive into the exciting metropolis flow 24/7. With the popular clubs Watergate, Berghain and Matrix being just a stone’s throw away, you can experience Berlin’s nightlife by food. If that’s not enough, there are plenty of other famous clubs nearby. Above that our hostel is also surrounded by countless bars, reasonable priced restaurants, trendy stores and typical Berlin locations all in one place as you will not find it elsewhere in Berlin.
Sightseeing
Guests who want to explore the entire city can make use of the perfect public transport connection. The S- and U-Bahn stations Warschauer Straße are only a two minutes walk away. To the city center, the Alexanderplatz, it is just a 3 stops ride by train. Berlin Friedrichstraße, the Ku’damm and the Berlin main station can also be reached directly within a short period of time.
Who knows Berlin knows, the city has many centers. Each has its charm!
